# Ingredients:

01 - 450 grams large shrimp, peeled and deveined

02 - 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
03 - 240 millilitres heavy cream
04 - 25 grams grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

05 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
06 - 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved (optional)
07 - Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

08 - 120 millilitres chicken broth
09 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
10 - Salt, to taste
11 - Black pepper, to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Rinse shrimp thoroughly under cold water. Pat dry with paper towels and season evenly with salt and black pepper.
02 - Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
03 - Add seasoned shrimp to the skillet. Sear for 2 to 3 minutes per side until the shrimp turn pink and opaque. Remove shrimp and set aside.
04 - In the same skillet, add remaining 2 tablespoons butter, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Stir well and bring to a gentle simmer.
05 - Stir in Italian seasoning and season sauce with additional salt and black pepper as needed. Incorporate cherry tomatoes at this stage, if using.
06 - Return shrimp to the skillet. Allow to simmer in the sauce for 2 to 3 minutes. If desired, mix in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and evenly blended.
07 - Remove skillet from heat. Scatter chopped fresh parsley over the dish for a touch of colour and freshness.
08 - Serve hot over your choice of pasta, rice, or zucchini noodles for a complete meal.
