# Ingredients:

01 - 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
03 - Salt and black pepper to taste
04 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - 8 ounces sliced mushrooms (white or cremini)
06 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
07 - 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
08 - 1 cup heavy cream
09 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
10 - 1 tablespoon butter
11 - 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
12 - Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder on both sides.
02 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
03 - In the same skillet, melt butter and add sliced mushrooms. Sauté for 5 minutes until softened.
04 - Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
05 - Pour in low-sodium chicken broth and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
06 - Add heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning to the skillet. Stir and let simmer for 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
