→ Base

01 - 680 g ground beef
02 - 1 small onion, diced
03 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
04 - Salt, to taste
05 - Black pepper, to taste
06 - 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
07 - 1 teaspoon paprika (optional)
08 - 1 cup (150 g) frozen mixed vegetables (peas, corn, carrots, green beans)

→ Creamy Layer

09 - 300 g can cream of mushroom soup
10 - 120 ml sour cream
11 - 120 ml whole milk
12 - 170 g shredded cheddar cheese
13 - 0.25 teaspoon onion powder (optional)
14 - 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

→ Topping

15 - 800–900 g frozen tater tots
16 - 115 g shredded cheddar cheese
17 - Chopped fresh parsley, green onions, or chives (for garnish)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 190°C. Lightly grease a 33 x 23 cm baking dish.
02 - Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and diced onion; cook for 7–8 minutes, stirring until beef is browned and onions are soft. Drain excess fat. Add minced garlic, salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and paprika; sauté for 1 minute.
03 - Stir in frozen mixed vegetables and cook for 2 minutes to begin thawing. In a bowl, whisk together cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, onion powder, and garlic powder. Add to skillet with 170 g shredded cheddar, mixing thoroughly with beef and vegetables.
04 - Spread the beef and vegetable mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish. Arrange frozen tater tots on top in a single, even layer. Sprinkle with remaining 115 g shredded cheddar cheese.
05 - Bake uncovered in preheated oven for 40–45 minutes, until the cheese is bubbling and the tater tots are golden. For a crispier finish, broil on high for 2–3 minutes while monitoring closely.
06 - Allow to cool for a few minutes. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley, green onions, or chives.

# Notes:

01 - Prepare and assemble in advance; refrigerate up to 24 hours before baking. Always use frozen tater tots for optimal texture.
02 - Leftovers reheat well in the oven or air fryer to retain crispiness.
03 - Double the cheese quantity for an extra rich, gooey result.
