01 -
Preheat the oven to 190°C. Lightly grease a 33 x 23 cm baking dish.
02 -
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and diced onion; cook for 7–8 minutes, stirring until beef is browned and onions are soft. Drain excess fat. Add minced garlic, salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and paprika; sauté for 1 minute.
03 -
Stir in frozen mixed vegetables and cook for 2 minutes to begin thawing. In a bowl, whisk together cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, onion powder, and garlic powder. Add to skillet with 170 g shredded cheddar, mixing thoroughly with beef and vegetables.
04 -
Spread the beef and vegetable mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish. Arrange frozen tater tots on top in a single, even layer. Sprinkle with remaining 115 g shredded cheddar cheese.
05 -
Bake uncovered in preheated oven for 40–45 minutes, until the cheese is bubbling and the tater tots are golden. For a crispier finish, broil on high for 2–3 minutes while monitoring closely.
06 -
Allow to cool for a few minutes. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley, green onions, or chives.
