Creamy Bean & Kielbasa Soup (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
02 - 2 rings (26 oz) kielbasa, sliced
03 - 3 tablespoons unsalted butter

→ Vegetables

04 - 1 large yellow onion, chopped
05 - 2 medium carrots, diced
06 - 2 teaspoons minced garlic

→ Soup Base

07 - ¼ cup all-purpose flour
08 - 3 cups chicken broth
09 - 1 cup whole milk
10 - 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
11 - 2 cans Great Northern white beans
12 - ½ teaspoon kosher salt
13 - ½ teaspoon black pepper

# Instructions:

01 - Cook sliced kielbasa in oil until browned, 7-9 minutes. Remove and set aside.
02 - Melt butter, cook onion, carrots, garlic with seasonings 10-12 minutes until softened.
03 - Add flour to vegetables, cook 1 minute. Add broth, milk, and Worcestershire sauce.
04 - Return kielbasa to pot, add beans. Simmer 15-20 minutes until thickened.

01 - Can use any white beans
02 - Great for cold weather
