Crack Chicken Lasagna Layers (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Crack Chicken Base

01 - 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded
02 - 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
03 - 1 cup ranch dressing
04 - 12 ounces cooked bacon, crumbled

→ Pasta and Cheese

05 - 9 lasagna noodles, cooked al dente
06 - 7 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
07 - 4 ounces shredded cheddar cheese

→ Creamy Sauce

08 - 1½ cups whole milk
09 - 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
10 - 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
11 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder

→ Fresh Finish

12 - Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 375°F.
02 - In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and whisk in the flour for 1 minute. Slowly add the milk, whisking constantly until the sauce thickens. Blend in the softened cream cheese until smooth, then stir in the ranch dressing and garlic powder.
03 - Spread a thin layer of the sauce in the bottom of a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Lay down 3 lasagna noodles, then top with one-third each of the shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, mozzarella, cheddar, and more sauce.
04 - Repeat the layering process two more times with noodles, chicken, bacon, cheeses, and sauce.
05 - Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for 10-15 minutes until the top is golden brown and bubbling.
06 - Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, then serve.

# Notes:

01 - This lasagna is called 'crack' chicken lasagna because of its addictive combination of flavors - ranch, bacon, and chicken with melted cheese.
02 - Ensure lasagna noodles are cooked al dente before assembling to avoid them becoming mushy during baking.
03 - Using rotisserie chicken saves time, but freshly cooked shredded chicken works just as well.
