Reuben Sandwich (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 tbsp butter.
02 - 2 slices of deli rye swirl bread.
03 - 3 tbsp Thousand Island dressing.
04 - 6 oz corned beef, sliced thinly.
05 - 2 slices Swiss cheese.
06 - 1/4 cup sauerkraut, liquid squeezed out.

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat pan over medium-low heat. Melt butter and spread evenly.
02 - Place bread in pan, spread Thousand Island dressing on both slices.
03 - Add sauerkraut to one slice, Swiss cheese on other slice. Layer corned beef over cheese.
04 - Once cheese melts, use spatula to close sandwich.
05 - Cook few more minutes each side until golden, pressing gently. Cut and serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - Use quality fresh-sliced deli corned beef.
02 - Can substitute turkey or pastrami.
03 - Can replace sauerkraut with coleslaw or lettuce.
