# Ingredients:

01 - 8 oz elbow macaroni
02 - 2 tbsp butter
03 - 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
04 - 2 cups milk
05 - 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
06 - Salt and pepper to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Cook macaroni according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
02 - In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
03 - Whisk in flour and cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
04 - Gradually add milk, whisking constantly until smooth.
05 - Simmer mixture until thickened, then remove from heat.
