Classic Banana Pudding (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Pudding Base

01 - 3/4 cup sugar
02 - 1/4 cup flour
03 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
04 - 3 cups milk
05 - 3 eggs
06 - 2 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ Layers

07 - 1 box Vanilla wafers (8 oz)
08 - 4 bananas, sliced

# Instructions:

01 - Mix sugar, flour, and salt in saucepan. Whisk in milk and cook until thickened and bubbly.
02 - Whisk eggs, gradually add hot mixture to eggs, then return to pan. Cook until gently boiling.
03 - Add vanilla, remove from heat. Cool 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
04 - Layer wafers, bananas, and pudding twice in 8-inch pan, ending with pudding.
05 - Cover and refrigerate minimum 4 hours or overnight. Top with crushed wafers before serving.
