Chocolate Blossom Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup all-purpose flour.
02 - 1/2 cup cocoa powder.
03 - 1 tsp cornstarch.
04 - 1/2 tsp baking soda.
05 - 1/4 tsp baking powder.
06 - 1/8 tsp fine sea salt.
07 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened.
08 - 1 cup granulated sugar.
09 - 1 large egg.
10 - 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter.
11 - 1 tsp vanilla extract.
12 - Christmas nonpareils for rolling.
13 - 33 chocolate kisses, unwrapped.

# Instructions:

01 - Mix flour, cocoa, cornstarch, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
02 - Cream butter and sugar for 2 minutes.
03 - Beat in egg, then peanut butter and vanilla.
04 - Mix in dry ingredients until combined.
05 - Scoop 1 tbsp-sized balls and place on a lined baking sheet.
06 - Chill dough for 2 hours or overnight.
07 - Heat oven to 350°F.
08 - Roll dough balls in sprinkles and place them 2 inches apart on the baking sheet.
09 - Bake for 9-11 minutes until the surface cracks.
10 - Cool cookies for 5 minutes, then add chocolate kisses on top.
11 - Freeze cookies for 10 minutes to set the chocolate.

01 - Use room temperature ingredients.
02 - Must chill dough for at least 2 hours.
03 - Don't overbake - look for surface cracks.
04 - Freezing prevents kisses from melting.
