Classic Chili Cheese Dogs (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Beef Chili

01 - 1 lb ground beef (85/15)
02 - 1 tsp olive oil
03 - 1 medium onion, minced
04 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
05 - 2 tbsp tomato paste
06 - 14 oz crushed tomatoes
07 - 1 cup beef broth
08 - 1 tsp yellow mustard

→ Seasonings

09 - 1 tbsp chili powder
10 - 1 tbsp paprika
11 - 1 tsp cumin
12 - 1 tsp oregano
13 - 1 tsp onion powder
14 - pinch of cinnamon

→ Assembly

15 - 12 hot dogs
16 - 12 hot dog buns
17 - shredded cheddar cheese
18 - diced red onions (optional)
19 - dill pickle slices (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Cook beef with onions and garlic. Add seasonings and tomato paste.
02 - Add liquids, simmer 30 minutes to 2 hours until thickened.
03 - Cook hot dogs 7-10 minutes on medium heat. Toast buns last minute.
04 - Layer mustard, hot dog, chili, cheese and optional toppings in buns.
