Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the stick of butter, allowing it to melt and coat the pan.

Season the chicken tenders with salt and pepper, then place them into the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.

In a separate pot, bring 1 cup of water and 1 cup of rice to a boil. Reduce to a simmer, cover, and cook for 15-20 minutes or until the rice is tender.

Once the rice is cooked, stir in grated parmesan cheese and minced garlic to taste, mixing well.

Serve the cooked chicken on a bed of garlic parmesan rice. Garnish with extra parmesan cheese and herbs, if desired.
