01 - 1 pound chicken tenders
02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
03 - 1 stick butter
04 - 1 cup rice
05 - 1 cup water
06 - Grated parmesan cheese
07 - Minced garlic
08 - Salt
09 - Black pepper

# Instructions:

01 - Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the stick of butter, allowing it to melt and coat the pan.
02 - Season the chicken tenders with salt and pepper, then place them into the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.
03 - In a separate pot, bring 1 cup of water and 1 cup of rice to a boil. Reduce to a simmer, cover, and cook for 15-20 minutes or until the rice is tender.
04 - Once the rice is cooked, stir in grated parmesan cheese and minced garlic to taste, mixing well.
05 - Serve the cooked chicken on a bed of garlic parmesan rice. Garnish with extra parmesan cheese and herbs, if desired.
