# Ingredients:

→ Cheese

01 - 1 cup of shredded cheese (like mozzarella, Monterey Jack, cheddar, etc.)

→ Aromatics

02 - 3 garlic cloves, minced
03 - 1 cup of diced onion

→ Garnish

04 - 2 tablespoons of fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)

→ Protein

05 - 450g of ground turkey or beef

→ Seasonings

06 - A pinch of salt and pepper to suit your taste
07 - 2 tablespoons of your favorite taco seasoning

→ Liquids

08 - 1 (120ml) can of diced green chilies
09 - 1 (414ml) can of diced tomatoes
10 - 240ml of beef broth
11 - 2 teaspoons of tamari (or soy sauce for a non-gluten-free option) (optional)
12 - 2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce (opt for gluten-free if needed) (optional)

→ Pasta

13 - 225g of spaghetti noodles (choose gluten-free if that works better for you)

# Instructions:

01 - Warm up a large skillet over medium heat. Toss in the ground meat and onions, cooking until the meat is browned. If needed, drain off any excess oil afterward.
02 - Follow the directions on the package to cook the pasta just right (al dente). Drain it and leave it aside for now.
03 - Stir in the garlic and the taco spices with the meat. Let everything cook for about a minute until the kitchen smells amazing.
04 - Pour the tomatoes, broth, green chilies, Worcestershire, and soy sauce into the pan. Give it a good stir, bring it to a boil, then gently simmer for around 5 minutes so all the flavors come together.
05 - Turn off the heat, sprinkle the cheese over the mixture, and stir well until it melts completely into the sauce.
06 - Add a little salt and pepper for taste. Toss the noodles and cilantro into the pan, stirring until everything gets nicely coated.
07 - Dish it out warm and don’t be shy—top it off with stuff like creamy avocado, sour cream, or sliced green onions.

# Notes:

01 - Want more heat? Toss a diced jalapeño in with the onions.
02 - To make the sauce thicker and richer, stir in 2 tablespoons of tomato paste along with the garlic.
03 - Looking for extra protein? Rinse and add a can of black beans.
04 - For a creamy twist, mix in about 4 ounces of cream cheese or half a cup of heavy cream or sour cream with the melted cheese.
05 - Pile on extra taco favorites like guacamole, salsa, or even more cheese!
