Cheesy Potato Beef Burrito Bliss (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Filling

01 - 1 package (800 g) frozen tater tots
02 - 450 g ground beef (85% lean)
03 - 1 packet (28 g) taco seasoning
04 - 120 ml water

→ Cheese Blend

05 - 120 g shredded cheddar cheese
06 - 120 g shredded Monterey Jack cheese

→ Sauce & Assembly

07 - 120 ml chipotle sauce
08 - 6 burrito-size flour tortillas

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 200°C.
02 - Arrange tater tots in a single layer on a baking tray and bake according to package instructions until golden and crisp.
03 - While tater tots bake, cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking apart with a spatula. When browned, drain excess fat.
04 - Add taco seasoning and 120 ml water to the cooked beef. Stir to combine and simmer for 5 minutes, allowing flavors to meld.
05 - Heat tortillas in a microwave or dry skillet just until softened and pliable.
06 - Combine shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses in a bowl; mix evenly.
07 - Spread a thin layer of chipotle sauce over each tortilla. Top with seasoned ground beef, baked tater tots, and a generous portion of cheese blend.
08 - Fold in the sides and roll up each tortilla tightly from the bottom, enclosing the filling.
09 - Place rolled burritos on a baking sheet and bake for 5–10 minutes, or until cheese melts and the tortillas are slightly crisp.
10 - Serve burritos hot for optimal flavor and texture.

# Notes:

01 - Broil tater tots briefly after baking for enhanced crispiness.
02 - To prevent tortilla cracking, ensure they are thoroughly warmed before assembling.
03 - Avoid overfilling burritos to achieve a secure, even roll.
04 - For variety, consider adding beans or sautéed vegetables, or utilize plant-based proteins for a vegetarian version.
