Ham Cheese Pinwheels (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough

01 - One can (14 ounces) of store-bought pizza dough

→ Filling

02 - 9-12 thin slices of Swiss cheese
03 - 12 slices of deli-style ham, thin cut

→ Sauce

04 - 6 tablespoons melted salted butter
05 - 1 teaspoon finely chopped onions (optional)
06 - 1/2 tablespoon regular Dijon mustard
07 - 1 teaspoon poppy seeds for garnish (optional)
08 - 2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven on and set it to 350°F. Grease your 9x13-inch dish with butter or line it up with some parchment paper.
02 - Place the pizza dough flat on a cutting board and stretch the edges into a nice rectangle shape.
03 - Spread out 12 slices of ham across the dough, followed by your Swiss cheese slices, 9 to 12 depending on your taste.
04 - Roll up the dough snugly starting with the short end. Slice it into two pieces, then cut each piece into 6 equal slices for a total of 12. Pop these into the dish you prepped.
05 - Place the dish in the oven and bake for 15 minutes.
06 - In a bowl, whisk the melted butter with mustard, Worcestershire sauce, poppy seeds, and minced onions (if you'd like).
07 - Take the rolls out and brush the sauce all over the tops. Put them back in the oven for another 10 minutes or till they're golden brown.
08 - Let the pinwheels cool in the baking dish for five minutes before enjoying them warm.

# Notes:

01 - Swap regular pizza dough with a homemade version or crescent rolls if you'd like.
02 - You can roll and slice these ahead of time. Store in the fridge after slicing and bake fresh with the sauce later.
03 - Leftovers stay good in the fridge for up to 3 days in something airtight. They taste great cold too!
