Choose your cooking method: Boiling - Bring a large pot of water to a boil, add corn, and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender. Grilling - Preheat grill to medium-high heat and grill corn for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally.

In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika (if using). For extra creaminess, stir in the optional mayonnaise.

Brush the hot corn with the garlic butter mixture, making sure to cover all sides evenly.

Sprinkle grated Parmesan all over the corn. Add the shredded mozzarella or cheddar on top. For extra meltiness, place under a broiler for 1-2 minutes, or simply let the heat from the warm corn melt the cheese.
