Cheesy Bacon Rollups Snack (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Garlic butter

01 - 60 g unsalted butter, melted
02 - 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
03 - 1 tablespoon dried parsley
04 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
05 - 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

→ Rollups

06 - 6 large wheat flour tortillas
07 - 12 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
08 - 90 g shredded cheddar cheese
09 - 90 g shredded mozzarella cheese
10 - 2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - In a small bowl, thoroughly mix the melted butter, minced garlic, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper until fully integrated.
02 - Lay each tortilla flat on a clean work surface. Microwave each for 10 seconds if needed to enhance flexibility and prevent tearing during rolling.
03 - Brush each tortilla evenly with the garlic butter mixture. Distribute crumbled bacon, followed by shredded cheddar and mozzarella, across the surface, ensuring the mixture reaches the edges. Sprinkle fresh chives over the filling if using.
04 - Tightly roll each tortilla into a spiral, maintaining even tension to secure the filling. Arrange seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking tray to maintain shape.
05 - Brush rollups with remaining garlic butter. Transfer the tray to the centre rack of an oven preheated to 190°C. Bake for 12–15 minutes until the tortillas are crisp and golden and the cheese is melted and bubbling.
06 - Allow rollups to cool briefly to set the cheese. Using a sharp knife, cut each rollup into bite-sized pieces and arrange on a serving platter.

# Notes:

01 - Par-cook bacon ahead of time to expedite preparation and achieve optimal crispness.
02 - Ensure garlic butter covers edges of tortillas for consistent flavor distribution.
03 - Substitute with Monterey Jack or pepper jack cheese for variation.
04 - Serve alongside ranch dressing or burger sauce for dipping, or pair with crisp salad or pickles.
