Cheeseburger French Fry Casserole (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 lb ground beef
02 - 1 medium onion, chopped
03 - 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
04 - 4 cups frozen French fries
05 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
06 - 1 tsp salt
07 - ½ tsp black pepper
08 - 1 cup ketchup
09 - 1 tbsp mustard
10 - ½ cup diced pickles (optional)
11 - 1 tbsp olive oil
12 - ¼ cup milk
13 - ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 400°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and set aside.
02 - In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook for 6–8 minutes until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
03 - Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for 3–4 minutes until softened. Stir in salt, pepper, ketchup, and mustard. Let simmer for 2–3 minutes to meld flavors. Remove from heat.
04 - Spread frozen French fries evenly in the bottom of the greased baking dish. Top with the beef mixture, spreading it evenly over the fries.
05 - Pour milk over the casserole. Sprinkle cheddar cheese generously on top. Add mozzarella cheese if desired for an extra cheesy layer.
06 - Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the fries are crispy.
07 - If using, top with diced pickles for that classic cheeseburger flavor. Serve hot and enjoy!
