Low Carb Pizza Base (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2.5 pounds cauliflower (or 2x12-16 oz packages cauliflower rice).
02 - 1 large egg.
03 - 1/2 cup Parmesan or Mozzarella cheese, grated.
04 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning.
05 - 1/8 teaspoon salt.
06 - 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper.
07 - Cooking spray.

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 375F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Process cauliflower into rice texture. Skip if using pre-riced.
03 - Bake cauliflower rice 15 minutes or microwave 8 minutes. Cool in cheesecloth.
04 - Squeeze liquid from cauliflower thoroughly for 3-4 minutes.
05 - Mix dried cauliflower with egg, cheese and seasonings.
06 - Shape into 11-inch crust. Bake at 450F for 20 minutes, flip if desired for extra crispiness.

01 - Squeezing out water is crucial for crispy crust.
02 - Can use fresh or frozen cauliflower.
03 - Freezes well up to 3 months.
