Caramel Pretzel Bars (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 cups mini pretzels.
02 - 1 cup unsalted butter.
03 - 1 cup brown sugar, packed.
04 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract.
05 - 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips.
06 - Flaky sea salt (optional).
07 - Sprinkles (optional).
08 - Chopped nuts (optional).

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 350°F.
02 - Line 9x13-inch pan with parchment paper.
03 - Layer pretzels on bottom of pan.
04 - Melt butter and brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat.
05 - Boil mixture for 3-4 minutes, stirring often.
06 - Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
07 - Pour caramel over pretzels.
08 - Bake for 10 minutes until bubbly.
09 - Sprinkle chocolate chips over hot caramel.
10 - Let sit 2-3 minutes until chocolate melts.
11 - Spread chocolate evenly over pretzels.
12 - Add toppings if desired.
13 - Cool at room temperature.
14 - Chill in fridge for 1 hour.
15 - Cut into bars and serve.
