Prepare espresso using a macchinetta or espresso machine. Can substitute with 4 ounces strong coffee.

Heat milk and froth using milk frother, whisk, or espresso machine steam wand until foam forms.

Add vanilla syrup and frothed milk to cup.

Pour espresso on top of the frothy milk to create a 'mark' on the foam.

Drizzle caramel sauce in two circles around cup edges and create grid pattern in middle.
