# Ingredients:

→ Cookie Dough

01 - 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
02 - 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
03 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
04 - 1 large egg
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
06 - 2 cups all-purpose flour
07 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
08 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
09 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
10 - 1 cup apples, peeled and diced
11 - 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

→ Caramel Drizzle

12 - 1/2 cup caramel sauce
13 - Sea salt for sprinkling (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
02 - Cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla extract.
03 - In separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
04 - Gently fold in diced apples and chopped nuts (if using).
05 - Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart. Bake 12-15 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
06 - Allow cookies to cool 5 minutes on baking sheets, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely. Drizzle with caramel sauce and sprinkle with sea salt if desired.
