Brown Sugar Caramel Frosting (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup brown sugar.
02 - 1/2 cup butter.
03 - 1/4 cup milk.
04 - 2 to 3 cups powdered sugar.
05 - 1 tsp vanilla extract.

# Instructions:

01 - Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat.
02 - Add brown sugar and stir until dissolved.
03 - Pour in milk while stirring.
04 - Turn heat to medium and bring to a gentle boil.
05 - Keep boiling for 2-3 minutes stirring constantly.
06 - Remove from heat and let cool until warm.
07 - Beat in 2 cups powdered sugar until smooth.
08 - Add more powdered sugar if needed for thickness.
09 - Mix in vanilla extract.
10 - Use right away while still spreadable.

# Notes:

01 - Work quickly once the frosting is ready as it will thicken while cooling.
02 - Perfect for layer cakes, cupcakes and cookie filling.
