Broccoli Cheese Balls Snack (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 2 cups cooked broccoli, chopped into small pieces
02 - 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
03 - ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
04 - 2 large eggs
05 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
06 - ½ teaspoon garlic powder
07 - ½ teaspoon onion powder
08 - Salt to taste
09 - Pepper to taste

→ Optional Ingredients

10 - 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
11 - 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

# Instructions:

01 - Start by steaming or boiling the broccoli florets until tender, about 5-7 minutes. Drain and let them cool before chopping into small pieces.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir in the chopped broccoli, cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, and Parmesan cheese if using. Mix until well combined.
03 - Using your hands or a spoon, scoop out portions of the mixture and roll them into balls about 1 inch in diameter. Arrange them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
04 - Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F). Bake the broccoli cheese balls for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside.
05 - Remove the cheese balls from the oven and let them cool slightly. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm with your preferred dipping sauce.

# Notes:

01 - Panko breadcrumbs create a crispier texture than regular breadcrumbs.
02 - Adding Parmesan cheese enhances the flavor but is optional.
