Warm Cinnamon Pineapple Bake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Pineapple Base

01 - 1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple with juice
02 - ¾ cup sugar
03 - 2 eggs
04 - 2 tablespoons cornstarch
05 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

→ Topping

06 - 1½ tablespoons butter, sliced into pats
07 - 1 teaspoon cinnamon

→ Optional For Serving

08 - Vanilla ice cream
09 - Whipped cream

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
02 - Grease a 9×9-inch baking pan to prevent sticking and make serving easier.
03 - In a large bowl, combine the crushed pineapple with juice, sugar, eggs, cornstarch, and vanilla extract. Whisk everything together until the mixture is smooth and consistent, with no visible lumps.
04 - Pour the pineapple mixture into the prepared baking pan. Use a spatula to spread it evenly across the pan.
05 - Place small pats of butter evenly across the top of the pineapple mixture. Sprinkle the cinnamon in an even layer over everything.
06 - Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 45 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown and the center is fully set. To test, insert a toothpick into the center - it should come out clean.
07 - Remove the pineapple bake from the oven and allow it to cool slightly before serving. It can be enjoyed warm or at room temperature. If desired, serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.

02 - For a tropical twist, try adding ¼ cup shredded coconut to the pineapple mixture before baking.
03 - Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated gently in the microwave.
