Cook the lo mein noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the thinly sliced beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove beef and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of oil. Toss in broccoli, bell pepper, carrot, and garlic. Stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes until veggies are tender-crisp.

Return the cooked beef to the skillet with the vegetables. Add the cooked noodles.

In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper.

Pour the sauce over the beef and noodles. Toss everything together until well coated.

If you'd like a thicker sauce, stir in the cornstarch mixture and cook for another 1-2 minutes.

Sprinkle with chopped green onions and serve hot.
