Beef Braciole (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 pounds flank steak or top round.
02 - 1 cup fresh breadcrumbs.
03 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese.
04 - 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley.
05 - 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil.
06 - 2 cloves garlic, minced.
07 - 4 cups tomato sauce.
08 - Salt and pepper to taste.
09 - Olive oil for cooking.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat skillet over medium heat with olive oil.
02 - Pound beef to 1/4 inch thickness, season with salt and pepper.
03 - Mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, herbs, garlic, salt, and pepper.
04 - Place filling on beef slices, roll tightly, secure with twine.
05 - Brown rolls on all sides in skillet.
06 - Cook in tomato sauce for about one hour until tender.

# Notes:

01 - Can add prosciutto to filling.
02 - Serve with pasta.
03 - Good for special occasions.
