01 -
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
02 -
Slice off the top of the bread bowl and carefully hollow out the inside, removing some of the bread to create a deep cavity for the filling. Keep the top for later.
03 -
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened and translucent.
04 -
Add the pulled pork to the pan along with the garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt. Stir to combine, then pour in the BBQ sauce. Stir again to coat the pork evenly. Let simmer for 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
05 -
Stuff the hollowed bread bowl with the BBQ pulled pork mixture, ensuring it’s packed well. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese, making sure to cover the pork evenly.
06 -
Place the filled bread bowl on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the bread is golden brown.
07 -
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
08 -
Serve with the top of the bread for dipping and enjoy!
