06 - ½ cup BBQ sauce

→ For serving

07 - Buttery Corn Rice
08 - Steamed or roasted broccoli

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Cut the salmon into serving-sized pieces and pat dry with paper towels. Season the top side with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
02 - Transfer the salmon to the baking sheet and generously coat the top and sides with BBQ sauce.
03 - Bake the salmon for 8 minutes. Switch the oven to broil and broil for 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
04 - Serve the salmon with buttery corn rice and your preferred steamed or roasted vegetable, such as broccoli.

# Notes:

01 - Salmon cooks rapidly, so avoid overcooking to maintain tenderness. For best results, cook to 125-130°F. The FDA recommends cooking to 145°F, but it may result in dryness.
02 - If you bake the whole side of salmon, it will need 12-14 minutes plus a few minutes under the broiler.
03 - Choose a BBQ sauce you enjoy, as it is the primary flavor in this dish.
04 - When broiling, prioritize cooking the salmon to the proper internal temperature over achieving a dark char.
