11 - 15 millilitres olive oil

→ Spices and Seasoning

12 - 1 teaspoon salt
13 - 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
14 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

# Instructions:

01 - Dice the onion, shred the cheeses, measure all condiments and spices, and cook the bacon until crisp before chopping.
02 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened, stirring frequently.
03 - Add ground beef to the skillet with the softened onion. Break apart with a spoon and cook until browned, seasoning with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
04 - Incorporate Worcestershire sauce, tomato sauce, ketchup, and yellow mustard into the beef mixture. Stir well and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes.
05 - While sauce simmers, boil lasagna noodles in a large pot of salted water until al dente. Drain and lay flat to prevent sticking.
06 - Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F). Lightly grease a large rimmed baking sheet.
07 - Arrange a layer of cooked lasagna noodles in the base of the prepared pan. Spread half of the meat sauce over noodles. Sprinkle with half of the chopped bacon, cheddar cheese, and mozzarella cheese.
08 - Place another layer of noodles, then cover with remaining meat sauce, bacon, cheddar, and mozzarella.
09 - Cover the pan tightly with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
10 - Remove foil and continue baking for 10-15 minutes, until cheese is melted, golden, and bubbling.
11 - Let lasagna stand for 10 minutes to set before slicing for serving.
12 - Serve with pickles, fresh lettuce, sliced tomatoes, or additional crisp bacon if desired.

# Notes:

01 - Broil the lasagna for 1-2 minutes at the end of baking for an extra crisp top.
02 - Avoid overcooking pasta to prevent soggy layers.
03 - Assemble lasagna up to 24 hours in advance, cover, and refrigerate before baking.
04 - This dish freezes well; wrap tightly and store in the freezer for up to two months.
05 - Customize with additional burger toppings such as caramelized onions or your preferred cheeses.
