Caramelized Air Fryer Pineapple (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Pineapple

01 - 2 heaping cups sliced pineapple (about 1/2 small pineapple)
02 - 1 tablespoon vegan butter or margarine, melted (optional)
03 - 2 tablespoons maple syrup
04 - 1 teaspoon cinnamon

→ Optional Chili Lime Dip

05 - 3 tablespoons cashew cream or vegan mayo
06 - 1 tablespoon lime juice (about half a lime)
07 - 1/2 teaspoon chili powder

# Instructions:

01 - Peel, core and slice pineapple into rings or chunks. Place about 2 heaping cups in a mixing bowl.
02 - Combine melted butter, maple syrup and cinnamon in small bowl. Pour over pineapple slices and gently mix to coat evenly.
03 - Carefully place pineapple pieces in single layer in air fryer basket. Air fry at 380°F for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway, until caramelized.
04 - While pineapple cooks, combine cashew cream/vegan mayo, lime juice, and chili powder in small bowl.
05 - Enjoy warm or cold as a dessert or side dish. Serve with optional chili lime dip if desired.

01 - Place pineapple pieces individually in basket to prevent breaking
02 - Keeps 2-3 days in refrigerator
03 - Can be served warm or cold
